From Italy - Springdale, PA

From Italy is located on Lincoln Ave. in Springdale. I have driven past many times and noticed their sign proclaiming them to have the best pizza in Pittsburgh. I looked into this and found they were voted best pizza in Pittsburgh by a radio station in 2007.

This was one of the better pizzas I have tried; It was not the best, but was above average. The crust was thin under the topping and thicker on the outer perimeter.  It was flavorful and cooked well.  The sauce wasn't anything special, slightly sweet but not overly sweet. The cheese was very good and there was plenty of it.  Overall, this pizza was good.  I would order again and recommend it, but its not the best.  The search continues...
