Little Chicago's Pizzaria - Sharpsburg, PA

I was up for something different so I decided to try a deep dish pizza from Little Chicago's on Main Street in Sharpsburg.  When I was reading the menu I saw they put chunky seasoned tomatoes on the pizza.  I didn't realize how much chunky tomato would be on it.

The crust was very bland and undercooked.  There was no sauce under the cheese but a ton of chunky tomatoes on top.  The tomatoes were under seasoned and to there were to many of them.  The amount and taste of the cheese was fine.  Overall, I was very let down.  I was unfamiliar with the Chicago pizza style and didn't realize that the chunky tomatoes were what made it Chicago style.  If there were less of the tomatoes and they were seasoned properly I might not have been as let down.  I would not recommend this pizza and I will not go back.  I'd like to try a Pittsburgh style pizza.  I imagine it would have fries and slaw on it.
