Casa Del Sol - Aspinwall, PA

I have read several reviews of Casa Del Sol, located on 1st Street in Aspinwall, and all have been positive.  They were very busy, and the wait for a pizza was about 40 minutes.  Because of that, and that they do not offer specials, I was very excited to try the pizza.

The crust was about average.  It was thinner and tougher than I like, but it wasn't bad.  The sauce was also about average and they used a proper amount.  They used a decent amount of cheese which stayed gooey for about 30 minutes after I picked it up.  Overall, I was a bit let down.  For all the good reviews I read and for how busy they were, I felt that the pizza should have been better.  I am not sure if I would go back or recommend it, as there are better pizza shops in most areas.  It wasn't bad..but it wasn't much better than average.
