Sunseri Pizza - Verona, PA

I have passed Sunseri Pizza on Allegheny River Blvd. in Verona many times and decided to order from them. Sunseri's is a no frills pizza shop as they do not offer seating so they are takeout only.  I ordered two pizzas; one plain traditional and one specialty, the Pittsburgher.  The Pittsburgher is a pizza with ranch sauce, chicken, bacon, tomato, red onion, provolone, cheddar, and then topped with slaw and fries.  I am going to be reviewing the traditional pizza, but I wanted to mention the specialty one.  Overall, I would give the Pittsburgher 8.5/10.  It was damn good and I will have it again.  Now, on to the traditional pie!

The crust at Sunseri's is good.  It is pretty close to the style I like and is slightly greasy.  The sauce is sweeter than I normally like but I feel it went very well with everything.  The cheese is good and there is a good amount on it.  Overall, I enjoyed the pizzas very much and will be going back.  I think it is one of the better pizza shops in the area.

          Crust: 7.5/10
          Sauce: 7/10
          Topping: 7/10
          Overall: 7/10

And here is a picture of the Pittsburgher specialty pizza.
