Vincent's Pizza Park is located on Route 30 in Irwin. There are several Vincent's around Pittsburgh. From what I have been told, they are all independently owned, but all do pizza in the style of the original Vincent's. I will try the Vincent's in Forest Hills sometime so I can compare them for myself. Vincent's has a huge reputation as Pittsburgh's best pizza, so I was eager to try it for myself.
The crust was decent. It was a bit more cooked than I would like. It almost had a pretzel like taste to it. It is really hard to judge the sauce, as they barely put any on, or because it was all absorbed into the cheese. If I wasn't looking for the sauce, I wouldn't have really given it a thought because there was enough grease on the pizza that it didn't have a dry taste to it. They use a ton of cheese. I am not sure if it is because of the amount of cheese, the type of cheese, or the quality/brand of cheese, but I feel the taste comes off as something I have had at many gas stations. Overall, I was a bit let down and feel it is hyped up. It is a decent pizza, and if you like greasy and cheesy pizza, then this place is worth trying.
Crust: 6.5/10
Sauce: 6/10
Toppings: 6.5/10
Overall: 6.5/10
